What's New?

8-21-2010 Below are some new acquisitions from this year. First up is an unusual

eastern found in New Jersey this past Spring, she ended up being gravid and pro -

                  duced 34 healthy babies.

Eastern golden garter 2 adult female

(Babies from the above female)

Next was a terrific find, the person who found it thought it was an albino California

red sided however upon receipt, it turned out to be an albino Coast garter, the first

albino ever found of this species. She ended up being gravid and had a small litter

of babies on Halloween night .

6-30-2009 Below will be periodic picture updates of eight Eastern erythristic albino's

color changes as they grow & mature. There were three sets of breedings; first was

the double het Carteret Cty erythristic x Schuett albino bred to the double het Carteret

Cty erythristic x Schuett albino, second the double het Myrtle Beach erythristic x

Schuett albino bred to the double het Myrtle Beach erythristic x Schuett albino and

lastly the double het Carteret Cty erythristic x Schuett albino bred to the double het

Myrtle Beach erythristic x Schuett  albino. Please excuse the picture's poor quality,

babies are extremely squirmy and are difficult to get good pictures of.
